I am currently meeting with clients via Telehealth video.
Session Time and Fees:
- Individual client 55-minute session, $150; Couples therapy 55-minute session, $180.
I accept cash, check or ACH bank transfers using a variety of online platforms such as Zelle, Chime, Venmo, etc. Please make checks payable to Riverbend Psychotherapy, Inc.
Insurance: I am currently in-network with Premera Blue Cross, Regence Blue Shield, LifeWise, First Choice Health, Aetna and Cigna/Evernorth in WA state. I am not a provider for insurance in MO.
If you have out-of-network insurance benefits I can provide an invoice for your paid sessions if you would like to turn it into your insurance company for reimbursement. The best way to find out if your insurance plan allows out-of-network reimbursement is to contact them directly. I do not bill insurance for couples therapy. Couples sessions cost $180/hr.
Cancellation Policy: Because your therapy time is reserved just for you, I need at least 24-hours notice for a non-emergency cancellation. If you cancel without 24-hours notice, you will be responsible for the session fee. This is waived in the case of an emergency, such as a medical emergency. Please note that insurance companies do not pay for missed sessions so this fee would be out-of-pocket. Thank you for your understanding in this.
I look forward to meeting you!
GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE NOTICE
This notice is in connection to the “No Surprises Act” which began enforcement on January 1, 2022. The Act requires providers to inform their uninsured and private pay patients that they have a right to a “Good Faith Estimate” to help them estimate the expected charges they may be billed
Notice to clients and prospective clients:
Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit http://www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
