Therapy

Whether you have experienced personal trauma or are dealing with depression, anxiety, grief, etc., individual therapy can be an important part of coming home to yourself.  I work with people as they increase self-awareness and improve communication skills, set boundaries, discover their inner desires and truth, heal old wounds, and a variety of other inner and outer issues.  I believe that every person has a right to thrive and feel at peace.  My goal as your therapist is to help you as you move toward more balance and empowerment in your life.

When working with couples I use Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy (EFT). This is a type of therapy that helps people feel heard and seen by their partners as they learn how to better communicate about their feelings and experiences. It also helps couples identify the negative patterns in their relationship and work to change those patterns into more helpful and healthy ways of being with each other.

The above principles also apply to my work with families.
